The National Advisory Council (NAC) for the Cowen Institute is a diverse and distinguished group of national and regional leaders in public education reform. The purpose of the NAC is to:
Provide advice and strategic direction to the CI to ensure it fulfills its vision and mission
Contribute ideas, insight, and expertise to assist in the transformation of the New Orleans public education system
Serve as a national resource, advocate and conduit to encourage the creation of similar university based initiatives at other major, research institutions in the United States
