Public Policy and Legislative Update
The public policy team takes you inside the legislative process and breaks down pertinent information on House and Senate bills and how they are affecting our public education system. We will also update you on Orleans Parish School Board, the Recovery School District, and the Louisiana Department of Education issues that are pertinent to the Cowen Institute mission.

University-Based Initiatives Update
Tulane University partners with the K-12 public education sector in a variety of ways, enabling members of the Tulane community (or Tulane faculty, students, staff and alumni) to engage in numerous opportunities to support education reform underway in New Orleans. We’ll keep you posted on the impact of our institutional efforts as well as opportunities to serve as change agents in the revolutionary movement to transform the city’s public schools.

College Readiness Programs Updates
