AdvanceNOLA Update
Each month, we’ll keep you updated with student progress in their Advanced Placement courses, on their college applications, on their plans for life after high school graduation – and how you can help. We’ll also share information on other college readiness programs currently underway in public high schools in New Orleans.
Public Policy and Legislative Update
Every two weeks, we will update you on Orleans Parish School Board, the Recovery School District, and the Louisiana Department of Education meetings and issues. During the annual Legislative Session, the public policy team takes you inside the legislative process and breaks down pertinent information on House and Senate bills and how they are impacting the public education system in New Orleans and Louisiana. These updates also provide an update on federal bills and policies that impact K-12 education.
Research Update
Each month, the research team will bring interesting and informative research about public education right to your inbox. From student performance data to governance issues to analysis of school finances, it’s all here for you and from a trusted source.
Tulane Community Update
Tulane partners with the K-12 public education community in a variety of ways, enabling members of the university community (including faculty, students, staff and alumni) to support education reform efforts underway in New Orleans. Each month, we’ll highlight how Tulanians are making an impact and provide information on opportunities to serve as a change agent in the revolutionary movement to transform the city’s public schools.
