Abstract:
This report is an in-depth analysis of the funding that poured into New Orleans schools after Hurricane Katrina. It considers how the need for additional funding became evident after the storm and how funds were allocated to schools by the state and the federal government. Additionally, it looks at how funds have been spent and considers accountability and considerations for the future.
