Abstract:
This excerpt from the 2005-2006 LEAP/GEE Annual Report introduces and explains the history of the Louisiana Educational Assessment Program and the Graduation Exit Exam. There is a section dedicated to each of the four subject areas, explaining how performance is measured and the types of questions found on the tests for each grade level. Additionally, there is a section that details how performance standards were set and how scores and performance levels correspond.
