Abstract:
Across the country, roughly one third of students entering ninth grade do not graduate from high school, representing over a million dropouts each year. A poor education system is significant detriment to the economy as well as judicial and health systems. This report offers a brief summary of the impact Louisiana’s high school dropouts have on the economy and on the state.
