Abstract:
In this article, the authors argue that the phenomenon of harsh discipline and school arrests pre-Katrina is being replicated in the post-Katrina network of schools. Combined with a lack of resources and the failure to educate students, has resulted in a School-to-Prison Pipeline that excludes some students from traditional education settings.
