On May 20, 2006 a group of charter schools and teachers union leaders met at the Progressive Policy Institute in Washington D.C., to discuss areas of agreement and disagreement around teachers unions and public charter schooling. The article discusses in detail the results from the symposium between the two often conflicting groups.
