Service Learning Internship Program
The Cowen Institute is committed to attracting the brightest minds at Tulane University to serve as change agents in the revolutionary movement to transform the city’s public schools. In partnership with the Center for Public Service (CPS), the Cowen Institute launched an education-focused service learning internship, providing Tulane students with the opportunity to participate in the transformation of public education taking place in the city. The education service learning internship merges civic engagement with academic inquiry by pairing undergraduate students with traditional public and charter schools or the nonprofit organizations supporting them. This unique learning experience enables students to be involved in reshaping and rebuilding New Orleans’ public education in tangible ways. To become an intern at the Cowen Institute, you must submit an application. Click here for more information about internships at the Cowen Institute.
