School Siting Summit Parking
Parking for the Statewide School Siting Summit
A map of the Uptown Campus can be found here.
There are three options for parking on or near campus:
Below are some details about each option.
Parking on campus with a daily parking permit
We will have someone stationed at the corner of Newcomb Place and Willow St. You can pick up a daily parking permit there between 8:00 and 8:45 a.m. on July 21st. Even with a permit, do not park in any space with a parking meter or any space marked “Reserved.”
Please note that parking on campus is scarce, even during the summer. The largest parking lot (Rosen Parking) is a significant distance from the LBC.
Take a shuttle from nearby University Square (formerly Uptown Sqaure)
University Square is located at 200 Broadway. During the summer, shuttles run to campus approximately every 30 minutes. The shuttle schedule is available here. You do not need a permit to park at University Square. The shuttle drop-off location is very close to the LBC.
To take the shuttle, wait in the parking lot at the point indicated on this map (near the portable building). Ask the driver to let you know which stop is closest to the LBC.
Park in the neighborhoods surrounding campus
On-street parking is available around campus. Many of the blocks closest to campus have 2 hour restrictions. However, if you go just a few blocks, you can find unrestricted parking.
